Teasing their upcoming joint project, Ugly Frank & Swanks recently dropped off a fresh visual for track 1020. Director Thomas Dierikx skillfully infuses a mostly primary color palette with visual effects, mirroring the bars being spit by both artists. It is a delightful display.

Luckily, this isn't the first time these two have linked. There are a few features sprinkled within both of their discographies, but my personal favorite comes from Frank's project Jimmy Kimmel. The 6 track tape, produced entirely by Antwon Carrera, was released in December of 2016. Swanks is featured on Track 5, GCR2. The song possess a slightly menacing and melancholy feel to it, a great match to both artists' trademark relentless flows. It is similar to our most recent taste of the two on 1020

In this most recent track, we get the same slightly menacing feel from producer KT the Terrible whose sounds seem to pair perfectly with the force that is Frank n Swanks.

Now don't get me wrong, although they've got the faster tempos on lock, both also have the ability to slow it down without losing out on quality. Swanks displays this in a more recent single, 55 Lighters produced by The Monoeuvers. Slower sound, same steadfast Swanks.

That being said, we're definitely in for a treat with this joint project. I'm curious to see what they do together on a full cohesive project versus spaced out singles. The artistic direction in this video may be some sort of hint, but I won't assume, I'll just be patient. For now. Check out the new visual below.

Also, stay tuned and stay tapped in. PHONETAP coming soon.
