People - Smart People aka Dion's Turn UP aka Club907

The first Smart People that I went to was last month for featured DJ VESPA. It was the first time since the shop has been open that we were free to go out and roam in Tacoma night life. Usually we only get out for work purposes and it's the long journey to Seattle so I was grateful to keep it close to home. Birthdays are the other event that always drag us out there and no birthday could be more important than the Tacoma liaison Dion's.

It could have happened anywhere but conjoining with the night that he already hosts once a month, Smart People, it only made sense. The turnout was expected and he packed it out for the second time, after DJ Vespa and Melanin Mr. collab last month. So packed in fact that I snuck in - shout out to Derek he's the homie. We kept it moving and everybody was in the building but many many thanks to Dion for throwing a good night and being the guest of honor. Saw some old faces in a new era too - enjoyed that. I saw plenty of people stumbling out. New Frontier is actually really nice and they throw shows, it's going to be one of THOSE places for Club907. Come out Tacoma. Next month its back. 1stLadiesProduction caught the invite from Dion and came through with the epic outtakes - I hear there is some footage in the works as well.
