Talk about making a statement! The Abes just wrapped up their season February 2nd as i’m writing this. This isn't a normal closing game though, this is the end of a strong year where the Abes screamed domination all year. 14-0 in league play and a final record of 20 wins and ZERO losses. Wow. This, of course, including the classic Tacoma rumbles verses Wilson and a 14 point comeback win versus Foss in the MLK Day Bash. Also two high profile victories in the Mission Prep Christmas Classic against St. Joseph and Mission Prep respectively. The Abes this year are staking an early claim at the top of the newly designed 3a Pierce County League.

Looking to the postseason, there’s one game I think we all want to see eventually (and ideally in the 3a state championship,) and that is the Lincoln Abes taking on their also undefeated Seattle compadres, the Nathan Hale Raiders. Two teams putting it all on the line and going hard for the recognition they both deserve.

Shoutout to the youth out here ballin’ out and shoutout to Tacoma/Seattle/Washington basketball man. I’m looking forward to this crazy postseason and what’s in store for all these guys. Keep it posted here for periodic updates and reviews!
