VIDEO: TINDER X Jack The Spitter (Dert McSpurt)
Jack The Spitter is a PNW hidden gem. He's 47 alongside Bujemane, Ghoulavelii and Yung Fern. Out of the bunch Jack has the harshest sound. His influences are partly to blame but his style is passionate and planned although it appears chaotic. My favorite thing about Jack's music is that I never expect what he delivers, cadences are rhythmic when it feels like he's going to miss a beat - he doesn't and his ability to be melodic when it counts is uncanny and dare I say Quavo-ish. The visual for 'Tinder' (a fan favorite) is a visual representation of how things can go left so fast when dealing with The Spitter.
I love the concept and execution of this video. Here at the 907 we have deemed it - Flawless. Plus this was my personal second favorite song off HHIH behind 'She Good'. Before this video dropped Jack made a trip to the T and had a show (Get Blown) in Seattle, he stopped by the store to show the first edit of it and played me stuff from his upcoming release. The songs on the way are full of fun and harsh harmonies - could Jack be 47 sleeper agent??
