IT WENT UP! This past Sunday was in Watermelon Sundae and it was packed full of flavor. The women were out and looking very Summer fun and full of life - skin was radiant. The men were gentleman and danced with the women that chose them, the security was calm but was sure to keep the riff raff to a minimum, the refreshments were good money and the smoking was no issue. All the elements to cure the aliments. DJ RELLY RELL set the tone for us, he played lots of bangers through out the the mingling moments before the sipping settled into everyones system and the dancing began to take over as the main attraction. Aramis took over the table close to the 2.5 hour mark into the day party and it went up a few notches. It was a pleasure to be around all the familiar Tacoman faces and we saw plenty of news faces, that heartwarming and endearing to know there are plenty of Tacomans like ourselves that are ready for this new scene full of positivity and taking advantage of each others company as much as taking advantage of a sun showered Tacoma. Lots of beautiful women of every shade and well dressed men doing cool the right way by being personable and using their words like: excuse me, thank you, my bad, it's all good and a lot of eye contact to finger pointing to "AYYYYYEEE"  was happening. There was a family spirit to the atmosphere that made the moment feel more like a gathering. THIS is the type of environment we need to be continuing to highlight, narrate and create. This is successful celebration of life and friendship and our home. We have to stand on these moments and use them as catapults to get our corner of the world culture out there and stamped so when foreigners come to The T they have seen how we move and can act accordingly. We as The T need to support and follow that trend to turn it into a staple.

Some Thank-Yous are necessary. Thank you to Daz for believing in Tacoma and himself for taking the inaugural Watermelon Sundae, last year, as a lesson and fixing the bugs in beta to make for an exciting and full day this year. Thank you to the Freighthouse Square management for letting us be us and get loose the way we know how, special thanks to anyone who danced, since that what we come out to do and thank you most for being adults and respectful to one another. Daz has to do this again or we are stealing his idea right from under his nose.

Thanks Daz and thank you Watermelon Sundae.
