MUSIC: YO NO SÉ X GRXTTY for SOUNDWAVES III

"Whip is automatic don't mean I ain't got no stick" 

That was a the bar that set it over the top. GRXTTY represents for Federal Way, which we are slowly learning has a few hidden gems, and until his submission we have never heard of him. It's always exciting to bump into or be sent something that is unexpectedly good; we have no preconceived notions about GRXTTY and until we played his submission twice we did not know what he looked like. What we did know is that he A&R'd himself a nice beat and kept a spacey flow that is sometimes hard to do and still say something witty. GRXTTY accomplished that and then some being clever with the title of the song and the concept. At first glance we were skeptical of having two songs called "I don't know" but after hearing the way GRXTTY was able to flip things and keep it interesting we were on board. He's been doing music awhile so we went back in to twitter archive for a couple other joints and the potential is there but the banger is present.
