For his next trick he’s moving the pop-up experience to the well known (also black owned) Paradice Souf store and standing proudly on his blackness as a human and as a Seattleite.

It was right as we were opening eTcTacoma that we learned about the Melon Seed and that it too was a Black owned establishment. Located on Center St. not far from our high school Alma Mater, Henry Foss, the Melon Seed specializes in frozen yogurt and sliders both hot and cold.

For years they have also been on the wholesale side of the food industry as well as restaurants. You can find their prepared food in some of the local grocers currently, we happen to know for a fact that Stadium Thriftway does a great job at keeping Quickie Too products in their vegan section.
