MUSIC: MACKNED - 100oz ft Key Nyata

Mackned is really starting to make noise in the PNW after hitting the road for the THRAXXHOUSE tour with his long time running mate and fellow GOTHBOI Key Nyata. They cruised down and back up the west-coast, made a cross country detour in NY and turned out crowds everywhere, teaching some and reaffirming with others the way of the THRAXX. It makes plenty sense to see them combine the trap sound with the goth heavy culture of Seattle. Black youth being involved in anything goth isn't something you see everyday and especially not the tattooed, trapped up, leaned out version of modern day Seattle. All of that aside Mackned is a breath of fresh air producing as well as performing much like Nyata. For the most part his production is the most impressive side of things and what stole my ear. But after seeing previews here and there of his performances while on tour with his running mate Key and the rest of THRAXXHOUSE I'm ready to see it all in person.

Although the two are just coming off Indiana Facers, a joint mixtape with 10DEEP, this song "100oz" is new release and another banger. Word of advice - always appreciate an artist that can keep the run going and hits coming, with visuals from Ralph Madison tying it all together the THRAXX aesthetic is in full effect.
