Writing about smaller or new brands is what I love to do, not as much as discovering them, it reassures me, when I find something dope, that the culture shall prevail even in these dark times. And there are a number of ill brands that we follow pretty closely who are keeping the streets fed; Dertbag, FTP, Foulplay are our favorites right now. But there are still those "yet to be discovered by the 1st adopter" brands. Brotherhood is one of those brands, their aesthetic is clean but it's assertive. The lookbooks even seem meticulous in model casting and location, but maybe not, maybe they are the real deal and there is no faking the funk and lifestyle is reflective of the art. We should be so lucky.
For now shout out to Bricks and Wood for putting us on the wave. A couple more seasons and you might catch it on the 907 racks.
