Arched by Tiaira is a Black woman owned beauty business specializing in eyebrow services and located in the heart of South Tacoma Way. The Black owned beauty industry is growing rapidly in Tacoma and Arched By Tiaira is helping ensure South Tacoma Way is well rounded and diverse in its offering. There are only a few Black owned businesses on the main strip between 38th and 56th St. Her timeliness is helping her corner a nice piece of the marketplace and she is just getting started.

Daz is someone who does his best to stay closely connected to the black community in the T and does so by utilizing not only his own network but those around him and his mother’s network is often at the top of the list. izzie Lou makes several specialty items, but she does one in particular that sent Daz sprinting to the office to preach the gospel of Lizzie Lou and her “Soul Rolls”.
